Know Michael Trana
Michael Trana graduated on the dean’s list from the College of Southern Idaho in 2002 from the ASEP (Automotive Service Educational Program), where he received the GM Goodwrench Leadership Award. He has been ASE Master Tech certified since 2002. He did his apprenticeship at Larry Miller Pontiac Buick Cadillac. He has worked for independent repair shops as well as Cobalt Truck Equipment where he learned upfitting, welding, hydraulics and fleet maintenance. He managed a million-dollar fleet for a local utility contractor. He started his own mobile automotive repair business in 2008 which eventually grew into Trana’s Garage at a fixed location. In 2024, he changed the name of the business to River Valley Auto Repair, while still offering the excellent service that his customers have always known.
Michael is a devoted husband and father to 6 kids. In his spare time, he enjoys archery hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
